Consultation on the spot

The access to a library is free and free for all.

The section of the books, the room of the periodicals and the reading room propose their collections in free access.

The users are requested:

• to extinguish their GMS
• to deposit their cumbersome bags and clothing with the cloakroom
• to sign the register of frequentation while entering the reading room
• to work in silence
• not to give the documents to their place in the departments, but to deposit them on the tables

Home-base loan

The home-base loan is free.

It is reserved:

• with the students and staff members of new the French-speaking universities:
  , , , , , , , ,
• with the students and staff members of the high Namurian schools:
  High School Albert Jacquard (HEAJ)
  High School of University education of ()
  High School of the Province of ()
  High catholic Namurian School ()
• with the students of the industrial Institute of higher learning (ISI), site of Gembloux, section Structures of the landscape
• with the agronomic staff members of the Research center ()
• with the staff members of the Research center of Nature, Forests and Wood ()
• with the associate members royal of the Engineers resulting from () in command of contribution

Caution. The home-base loan is subordinate:

• with a preliminary inscription of the user in the data file of the Library on the basis of of the identity card or passport
• with the presentation of of the academic year in progress at the time of each lending operation

The maximum number of documents simultaneously in loan is of four per user.

The life of the loan varies according to the type of document:

• books: 2 weeks (1 week for the much in demand books)
• theses and memories of : 1 week
• periodicals: 1 day

The user who does not adhere to these deadlines receives a first recall. Other recalls follow to the rate/rhythm of one per week. After the third recall without continuation, the late user loses the right to borrow during the academic year in progress and the Library engages of the legal proceedings in its connection. A fine of 0,20 euro by document and day of delay is perceived.

Interlibrary loan and control of items

The services of goods of copies of items of periodicals and loan of monographs located in other libraries in Belgium and abroad function mainly via the networks , and . The original documents are generally lent to the Library for one one month duration, during which the users can only consult them on the spot. These services are invoicees according to the tariffs establish by the providers.

Procedures.

Photocopier

A photocopier is available to the greeting. The copy total or partial of a doctorate or a report of is forwarded to the authorization of the promoter of work.

Tariffs:

• 1 copy: 0,08 euro
• 1 copy: 0,16 euro
• 1 card of 100 copies (or 50 copies): 6,20 euros
